01 mins
We're off and running.
1.58pm
Our own man-at-the-match, Larry Peterson, is in situ on the touchline, he tells us there's a big crowd at the game. Two minutes to go....
1.52pm
We don't have a Hutton team sheet but we fully expect their two main scorers, Daisy Canny (usually wears No 14) and Lucy Critchell will be their main attacking force, they have 13 goals between them this season. They are well known and both are quick and skilful.
Sion Kamiende returns to first team action.
1.40pm
No sign of goal-getter Leanne Bates nor impressive defender Tayla Gencarelli. Speedy teenager Sion Kamiende makes a welcome return to add some pace to the front. Hannah Stone returns from a holiday to take the gloves, she is deputised by by Jessica Balbi. We're guessing Shona's usual midfield role will be taken by Jordan Feldman... we'll see!
1.30pm
Team line-up now confirmed (see below).
1.25pm
Just to explain what "3rd preliminary round" means. The women's FA Cup, Sponsored by Adobe, has three preliminary rounds where hundreds of tier 6, 7 and 8 teams battle it out to get the chance to enter the First Round "proper". That's what the Orient girls are trying to do today. If we win, we'll go into the hat with tier 4 and 5 teams along with the survivors from the preliminary rounds. We've already won several thousand ££££s to get this far, the prize money grows quickly from the next round. As for almost everyone else, prize money is a vital input to the club's revenue.
1.15pm
Just to put things into a context, We (Orient) play at Tier 7 of the FA women's leagues. We've played two games against other tier 7 sides in our own league and lost them both and have yet to score a goal. Hutton play at Tier 6 and are 3rd from top with games in hand. In short, Hutton are probably the best their league has to offer. Today could open a few eyes about the relative strengths and weaknesses of the Women's league structure - or it could go to form.
1.10pm
