Dussindale

  1:5

Orient

FULL TIME

Final score: we win 5:1

So it's the ladies from east London who will now go into the draw for the final qualifying round of the Adobe women's FA cup. Not that they needed to but the O's ladies demonstrated they are the real deal and a great team by playing away at a Tier Five club and winning hansomely. In the modern era, this is the first time we have played a tier 5 club and haven't come away having been out-classed. Quite the opposite in fact. Enjoy the trip home on the posh bus girls!

88 mins

It's been so hectic, we've only just noticed that Sammy Rowland has bagged herself yet another hat-trick. What a player to have! Lucy Porter and a Hayley West Worldy provided the other two.

85 mins

We make it there's about 5 of the 90 to go. Lucy connected well to a pass from Wiktoria Kiszkis but the ball went wide. Dussindale look exhausted, O's are managing the game.

73 mins

Steph McCaffrey was tripped, Ellie Leek took the free kick and hit the bar. The home side have a player down. To their credit, they are fighting harder than ever to avoid a runaway defeat.

70 mins

Ruby Abela and Wiktoria Kiszkis are on, they replace Poppy Binding and Kallie Balfour.

69 mins

Dussindale make a substitution. Orient still firmly on the front foot but we hope they are mindful of the small squad and high injury list, we don't need to make it worse when we're already 5:1 to the good.

67 mins

Lucy Porter gets a shot on goal from the corner, the keeper does well to kick it away.

66 mins

We have another corner. Dussindale fighting a brave rearguard action but the ladies from E10 are relentless.

64 mins

Poppy Binding was about to hit number six - stopped by the offside flag.

63 mins

Sammy Rowland puts in a strong drive and it's on target. The keeper does well to make the save.

62 mins

!!! G O A L !!!

Sammy Rowland goes one-on-one with the keeper and coverts the chance beautifully.

60 mins

That's the hour mark, it's all Orient. Ellie Leek takes another free kick but Dussindale clear the ball.

58 mins

Ellie Leek skilfully get's a good shot on goal, the home keeper does well to make a diving save.

56 mins

We have another corner. It's cleared away .

54 mins

A Dussindale defender did very well to head clear a goal-bound effort.

53 mins

Someone from a group of players in green (us) took a good shot at goal but it went just too high.

51 mins

Apart from the one hopeful shot by the home team, the game is being played mostly in and around their penalty area.

49 mins

Ellie Leek takes a direct free kick but it goes wide. Dussindale get a shot in of their own but it's no problem for Lola Duroyaiye in the O's goal.

48 mins

Gemma Baker takes a shot but keeper dives and makes the save.

46 mins

We're off and playing...

46 mins

The teams are out, ready to start the second half as light rain starts to fall. The atmosphere in the tea bar was stilted and reflected the home club's shock at losing 4:1 at half time to a tier seven side. The truth is, we play in tier seven but this Orient team is far above that.

HALF TIME

O's are 4:1 up

Time for a cuppa! The home people are very quiet.

45+ mins

!!! G O A L !!!

Hayley West decides she can do better than a 35 yarder and does a "Donley" and blasts the ball over the stranded home keeper from 40-45 yards! A worldy!

45 mins

Orient force a strong attack but lose possession in front of the home goal. Almost!

42 mins

The game has settled back into a rythmn again as half time approaches. The home crowd are very supportive of their team, they seem to believe they will eventually overcome their Tier 7 visitors but the balance of play doesn't suggest that.

33 mins

!!! G O A L !!!

Well done Sammy Rowland, she puts us back to a two-goal lead. Dussindale players and fans look stunned.

32 mins

!!! G O A L !!!

Should keep my mouth shut.... a free kick from Dussindale changes the complexion of the game. Lola Duroyaiye moved off the goal line to narow the angle from Holly Walker's kick from 30-35 yards out but the dipping shot sailed over Lola and just dipped at the last moment to nestle in the top corner. 2:1 now. The home crowd went mad, they have good support here.

31 mins

Still no visible threat from Dussindale's forwards. Their keeper dives at the feet of Kallie Balfour, both are down at the moment.

27 mins

Dussindale have organised themselves such that the game is less end-to-end as it was at the kick off. The question is, has the damage already been done?

21 mins

Orient get another corner, this time taken by Poppy Binding, Dussindale clear.

20 mins

Ellie Leek takes a corner which results in an opportunity for Lucy Porter but her shot clears the crossbar.

18 mins

Larry reports in that, despite going 2:0 down early in the game, D & H are a lot better defensively than the teams we've faced recently.

15 mins

Hayley West smashes a rocket goalwards which smacked against the left upright.

11 mins

O's need to be a bit reserved in going at it too hard, there are only two subs.

09 mins

Orient pressing hard, Dussindale looking a bit flustered.

08 mins

!!! G O A L !!!

Lucy Porter fires over the bar from the corner but immediately after the goal kick, Sammy Rowland adds to the Orient lead.

07 mins

O's on the front foot, we get a corner.

06 mins

!!! G O A L !!!

Orient go ahead. Lucy Porter gets her much deserved first goal of the season. A great start.

04 mins

Dussindale get a throw-in by our corner flag.

01 mins

We're off and playing. O's get a shot away but straight at the keeper.

line-up

Ready for the off. Sadly, no Lois Heuchan.

line-up

Here it is.

5 mins to kick off...

No team sheet has been published to the fans so we'll have to wait to see who takes the field. We've now spotted Ellie Leek, Lola Duroyaiye, Lucy Porter and Ruby Abela. Still quite a few not seen by us yet.

15 mins to kick off...

Kallie Balfour and Wiktoria Kiszkis were substitutes last Sunday, both are in the warm-up session so they may be getting a start today in view of the continued injuries. No sign yet of Wiki Fronc, Georgia Griffin or Jade Keogh but we are on the opposite side of the pitch to the dugout and squinting into the sun.

line-up

There's nothing like arriving in style to show the opposition that we mean business.

30 mins to kick off...

A lovely sunny day here in East Anglia. We're very hopeful of a victory this afternoon, despite Dussindale's higher league status.... Almost confident in fact.

line-up

We're in the green away kit again today. Here the girls are just finishing their warm up prep.
