Time to end today's Live Text

We hope you enjoyed following along todays game with us, sorry about the first half where the technical glitches played havoc with our posts. Our thanks to you for your company, we hope to "see" you again next Sunday.... COYOs.
A full match report and other stuff will be posted on Monday to lofcwomen.com

Post match...

Comets will have been the best Premier division side our girls have faced so far, they are perennially strong but it will take something more to stop the Orient steamroller! Next Sunday's GLWFL match against league leaders AFC Croydon and the following Sunday's FA cup match is against a Tier Six side who, like us, have a 100% record this season so far. Judging by the form book, these games are going to be significantly stiffer tests - a point being made by coach Jason Stephens at half time (overheard some distance away). The FA Cup is the best arena in which this Orient team can demonstrate far and wide just how good they are, we don't want to lose that opportunity at a quiet Farnham Town!

90 mins

F U L L - T I M E

With a final score of 10:0. That's out third league match, we have a GD of plus 38.

89 mins

Wiktoria Kiszkis went on a long swerving run and beat players but just missed out on another goal.

Steph McCaffrey gets a shot in but it's wide.

80 mins

Comets get a free kick ibn shooting range, Lola makes a diving catch which draws cheers from the crowd.

75 mins

15 of the 90 mins left, we have a corner. Esme Lancaster gets a chance from it but shoots over.

73 mins

Steph McCaffrey is thwarted by a good stop by the Comets' keeper.

72 mins

Ruby Abela on in place of Ellie Thomas Leek. Lola makes a fantastic diving catch and then Georgia Griifin takes another ambitious shot, She’s full of beans!

70 mins

Georgia Griffin is getting into the pace of the match now, she tries a shot from distance but the ball sails just wide.

68 mins

Ellie Thomas Leek gets a chance but her effort is a little too high.

67 mins

Lola Duroyaiye gets some action as she gathers the ball to thwart a Comets attack.

66

!!! G O A L !!!

Sammy Rowland again with an assist from Geogia Griffin. Yet another hat-trick for Super Sammy.

65 mins

Lucy Porter gets a shot away, the Comets keeper saves.

60 mins

That's the hour mark, it's all Orient. We have a corner.

58 mins

57 mins

45 mins

!!! G O A L !!!

Wiktoria Kiszkis again as we go 6:0 up. Half time approaches

34 mins

!!! G O A L !!!

Kallie Balfour is having plenty of success today and now she's hit a thumping half-volley to grab her second. A Balfour hat-trick is on the cards! Five-nil now.

33 mins

Technical gremlins now fixed (a work-around). Our normal service will resume from here on....

30 mins

!!! G O A L !!!

Half an hour gone and, almost inevitably, Super Sammy Rowland gets onto the score sheet. four-nil now.

23 mins

Comets are getting everyone behind the ball, leaving little space for us to build attacks. As a defensive tactic, it's working quite well but there's little threat from their attack.

19 mins

Our main title rivals, South London WFC, are winning at home to Luton Town. The league is taking shape slowly.

17 mins

!!! G O A L !!!

Kallie Balfour hits a cracker. Classy finish!

5 mins to kick off

The girls are playing in the famous red strip today, Comets are in their normal sky blue and black kit. Geotgia Griffin says the ladies are "confident of three points today".

10 mins to kick off

Good news, Georgia Griffin is fit to play and is in the warm-up. Our attacking options just got even stronger if she is OK to start. We're waiting for the official team sheet.

20 mins to kick off

The game today is at Barn Elms Sports centre, located on Thameside, just opposite the Fulham bank. Comets have no less than 35 players registered in the their squad and, by the looks of things in the warm-up, they'll have a full bench of subs. We haven't seen the O's yet.

Pre-match

Hello and welcome to our live-text service, it's a nice sunny warm day in west London where the O's ladies will be playing Comets WFC in a Greater London Premier division match. We'll be back soon...

News from last week....

From Barn Elms sports grounds next to the River Thames, Orient's women will take on Comets WFC in a Tier seven match in the Greater London Women's Football League - Premier Division. The people at Comets will tell you they are mainly a social organisation and they don't take themselves too seriously. If you start thinking along those lines they'll beat you. They have a huge multi-national squad which includes some dangerous goalscorers like: Elsa Wu, Diede Fennema, McKenna Doyle and Sophie Burns.
Our roving correspondent Larry Peterson will be at the ground, we'll be publishing his comments before, during and after the game (see above)
In the latest score banner (bottom of the screen) will remain there throughout the broadcast.
