First fixtures list released
The first of the new season's fixtures lists has now been released. Please be aware that a range of cup ties, bad weather and other postponements means this list will get out of date PDQ. For that reason, we keep the results and fixtures list (and everything else) updated right here on these web pages at LOFCwomen.com/267results. The fixtures, results and other related information is always available via the Main Menu.
We keep it updated as things change during the season, it also means you can get all your data and news at the one place rather than flipping around the FA results websites.
Home games will again be played at the Cheshunt FC's ground at Theobald's Grove. Don't forget, if you go by Overground train, get off at Theobald's Grove station, it's only a few minutes walk from there. If you get off at Cheshunt station you'll be in for a bit of an unnecessary hike.
Sunday games kick off at 2:00pm, some away games may vary from that, we'll advise you during the week before if that's the case. If you are new here, we have a regular Thursday update where we preview the following Sunday's match, this includes travel details etc to away matches.
ER refers to Eastern Region Women's Football League games.
LC refers to League Cup matches.
The match against Hashtag Dev on 9th September is a midweek game, probably an evening kick-off.
This Sunday's pre-season match
Our thanks to Dal Keeler for the information, Dal is proving invaluable with his insider info.
The ladies will be playing away at Royston FC, a powerful club in the Hertford/Essex region with teams playing at Tier 5 and a development squad at Tier 7. It will be a very tough game no matter who they pick.
We have a little information about our own recruitment in that things are moving along, we believe some names will be added to the list of registered players over the coming days. LOFCwomen.com will have people at this game so we'll bring you their views on Monday. Be aware that a completely new O's team will be taking on an established side so the result will be even more meaningless than usual for a pre-season game. It will be only the second time Jody and Marc will have the opportunity to see how things are shaping up.
